Top themes for corporate events surprised us. We really expected to find dance themes, or costume themes, or even period themes would be most popular and at the top of the list for hiring cover bands, but that big band concept fell flat when we realized the BIGGEST themes for corporate events had more to do with action taking slogans, and memorable music that put them into action. Some of these ideas might shock your socks off, but we’re going to go with them anyways.
1 – Make It Happen Monday
If you’re in business and know what a Monday morning at the office looks like, you might really understand this concept. Everyone arrives looking like their last dog died over the weekend, hating their alarm clock, and begging for another go at the coffee shop. Well it’s about time, “Monday morning became all I hoped it would be… ” Can you imagine a cover band presenting popular tunes of the early 1960’s era to promote your Make it Happen Monday Corporate Event?
2 – Partners of Excellence
When your business steps out on a partner, pairing program, to bring teams of co-workers to the forefront of the business success team, they might comprehend the concept if they kick it all off with some two-steppin’ country swing. Teams of two, corporate partners on the dance floor and encouraging partners in business with a Connect Two theme of Country style dance? Anybody want to two step around the dance floor?
3 – Got Momentum
Just Jazz it up with some happy momentum to inspire, innovate, and initiate big business developments with a corporate team of go-getters, inspired to achieve with momentum to go for their goals. Jazz tunes and a jitter bug contest might be just the motivation needed for your team.
4 – Great Expectations
If you could arrive with the man in the black limo, dance the night away in a white ballroom gown, and leave with the man in the black leather bow tie, your expectations of greatness might improve… So why not? Bring in the brass, big band sounds, and invite your team to arrive in black ties and white gowns. Present each woman at the door with a white rose, except for one… She gets a red rose, and at the end of the night, you’ll reveal that she is your highest expectation for the next month’s sales. Corporate events allow for everyone to present their best, why not present your top achievers at your event? Why not?
5 – Don’t Stop Believing
Journey back in time to small town girl, a midnight train, the smell of wine and cheap perfume, a city boy, and the knowledge that she can do anything. Anything her heard desires… This night motivates the corporate team players to accomplish greatness and the cover band plays tunes by Journey.
6 – California Dreaming
Surfin’ sand, and the Beach Boys tunes played by a cover band with dancers keeping an oceanic beat? You know the tunes, sing along, and motivate your corporate team to California dreaming kinds of living, working, and business.
7 – Shoot for the Stars: Showtime
This is the dream team. Cloudy mist, dark night, stars glittering over the ballroom, and the cover band plays the misty moonlight dream songs of your youth, drenched in romance for the couples in your corporation who share the big dream of accomplishing greater goals, leading in excellence, and reaching their greatest achievement.
